Slide out lock

I keep seeing advice on different sites and in my information I received with my RV which is a 2004 Four Winds Infinity Class A 31R. It says "Take out safety lock from top of slide before you open slide and to put back in when slide is in". I never have seen any kind of lock on any of my slides. Is there suppose to be some kind of lock on my slides? If so, where can I get them. It now has us worried. Do not want slide to move as we are on the road. Please help. Thanks

  • Has your slide moved going down the road. The locks may be braces that go inside that block against the inside wall. The good thing the slide will not move going down the road but the bad thing if you forget to remove them, well there goes your wall. Some of the Newmars had locks when the slide came in they would autolock and unlock when you put the slide out.
Maybe someone has a better idea on this:h
