Some companies put in enough batteries, some do not. Mine did.
Oh, something I glossed over in my earlier post.
IF... you have a 3/4" nut on the end of the shaft (It will be on the "Outside" end of a gear. Then if you have motor or transmiossion failure you can use a ratchet wrench.
But I'm guessing you sheared pins. if you have sheared pins this nut and wrench will only move one end (the end it's on) They should put one on each end :).
