We have a 24 footer and always take a car for any trip more than one night. It all depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it.
Very true.
Our Phoenix Cruiser 2350 is 23'-8" long. The one trip we took without our Liberty, we wished we brought it along. It's all about "mobility" once at your destinations, especially when you want to explore unpaved roads or worse.
If you don't explore like that, you'll do fine getting around in a 24 footer.
I knew someone who owned a Phoenix Cruiser 2350 with a slide out, built on a Sprinter chassis who towed a Wrangler 4-door. People tow with a Sprinter as long as the hitch is rated accordingly. The earlier Sprinters came with a 3500 pound hitch. The later ones with a 5000 pound hitch. They just take it easier to avoid over-working the transmission. No such worries with the E-Series.
