Snow chains for small class C

We make many trips year round to Yosemite. On occasion, chains are required to get in or out of the park. Once we get to the campground, we wait it out.
We are required to carry chain during the winter months. My small Class C requires the Class "S" style because of the minimal distance between the duals. The chains would have to be cables.
When I go online, I see the cables run in weight from as low as 6lbs to 15lbs. That's a big range. I would like to keep the price under $100. the tire size is LT225/75/16. Any recommendations?

  • We went to Yosemite in March. We had to turn back to get chains in Oakhurst. They cost just under $100. Cobra Jr. Cable Chain.

Hwy 140 to Merced is lowest elevation. That's what we had to do to get out.

  • If you have a Les Schwab tire store in your area, go there and get a set. if you don't use them you can return them for full refund.
