starting issues

I have a 2000 Southwind on the F53 platform with a V10, when I tried to start it today the engine turned over but would not stay idling, I tried a couple times and it did the samething. This happened once before and it seemed to correct itself, I just barely cracked the throttle and it started and I had to rev the engine to keep it running. After a minute or two it would idle on it's own.

Anyone ever experience this same problem or have an idea what to look for.

Thank you

Who can say with only that to go on and maybe it was just doing a computer correction, adjustment....etc.
My F150 will shake and almost stall on occasion, but has only done so a few times in a lot of years, so no biggie unless it becomes really troublesome.
  • My 1999 32v v-10 used to the same thing,I made sure i changed the fuel filter every 5000 miles, cause you never know what kind of gas you can pick up on the road.Plus the air cleaner, if it gets wet it can cause the motor to stall,or rough idle.I always use STABLE in the gas at different times when ai fill up.
