I have a 2000 Southwind on the F53 platform with a V10, when I tried to start it today the engine turned over but would not stay idling, I tried a couple times and it did the samething. This happened once before and it seemed to correct itself, I just barely cracked the throttle and it started and I had to rev the engine to keep it running. After a minute or two it would idle on it's own.Anyone ever experience this same problem or have an idea what to look for.Thank you

My 1999 32v v-10 used to the same thing,I made sure i changed the fuel filter every 5000 miles, cause you never know what kind of gas you can pick up on the road.Plus the air cleaner, if it gets wet it can cause the motor to stall,or rough idle.I always use STABLE in the gas at different times when ai fill up.

I just went through a similar starting problem. However mine is a 1995 Chevy chassis. Would crank but not Start. When started would die. I found by feathering the gas pedal rapidly it would stay running, When warmed up ran perfect. It turned out to be low fuel pressure at start up. Replaced fuel pump no more problem. Hope this is not your problem, Expensive.
