I had this problem. so i started tracing power. pulled the motor gave it direct power from the battery and it worked fine. i cleaned all grounds and wires. the batteries were fully charged still nothing but a clicking sound from the motor area.The control box which transfers power to the motor and makes everything work was not producing anything. So I pulled the box and tried to find a replacement. Well they do not make the box anymore and you, in my case had to buy a conversion kit $325.00. So I decided to not go for the conversion kit because the motor was fine the gear box was fine it needed the electonic brain to work. I then ran direct power to the motor with a manuel switch it works fine. I just have to remember to bring it in when getting back on the road.I will get back to the total conversion kit when the motor burns out. The motor on mine is not compatable with other control boxes. This was the answer for me.
