- cableguy574ExplorerI have used straight talk with no problem. It has the same coverage as Verizon
- Nutinelse2doExplorerI have had it for a little over a year with my iphone 4s in the Phoenix, AZ area. The internet is hit and miss, and only 3g. They supposedly use Verizon and ATT towers, but in remote areas where I had phone reception with Verizon, I have no service at all. There are a ton of dead internet zones everywhere, and I am pretty dissapointed with that.
The price is right so I will use it for the next 9 months till we leave full timing. Then, we will go to a different service provider. - consumeratlargeExplorerMy wife has the same as yours. I am still on AT&T. We go out to New Mexico near the Az border and her phone is the only thing working where we camp. On the interstates, they are equal, some dead spots on both. In every city we've been to, they both work. Straight talk costs less, and I would switch if they'd allow me to 'tether' my computer to the IPhone the way my ATT IPhone does (with paid data, though).
- CamrealExplorerHave been using straight talk with AT&T for about 6 months and find it works much better than Verizon .
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIStraightTalk is available to either use the Verizon or AT&T towers. If you root/unlock your phone you can set it up for tethering. I just received a text from StraightTalk where my unlimited plan now includes 3GB of high speed data for web surfing, so I am all set to tether my PC to the phone when we travel.
StraightTalk is the best non-contract service out there. - Robin1953Explorer

If you call them, they will help you get the phone on the network you want. Beyond that, there is no difference between straight talk and other providers...except it is cheaper and you have no contract.
I also have their 3g verizon wi-fi hotspot. It is a great value for people that need a wifi hotspot on a no contract/periodic use basis. - rgatijnet1Explorer III

What you just posted was dated BEFORE the text that I received on 5/16/2014 that tells me I now have 3GB of high speed data for web surfing. Terms change, as the text illustrates. No need for StraightTalk to send this text since I already had UNLIMITED service unless it was to give it's users an additional 3GB of data use for internet service to use. With my tethering I plan on using it. Feel free to stick with their old, outdated, contract terms. - Bird_FreakExplorer II

We have had exceptional service.
