straight talk wireless at wally world

Hi, anyone out there use straight talk wireless? How is their coverage in the western States? I would appreciate any user feedback.
Thanks,
Trucker
  • StraightTalk is available to either use the Verizon or AT&T towers. If you root/unlock your phone you can set it up for tethering. I just received a text from StraightTalk where my unlimited plan now includes 3GB of high speed data for web surfing, so I am all set to tether my PC to the phone when we travel.
StraightTalk is the best non-contract service out there.
  • Have been using straight talk with AT&T for about 6 months and find it works much better than Verizon .
  • My wife has the same as yours. I am still on AT&T. We go out to New Mexico near the Az border and her phone is the only thing working where we camp. On the interstates, they are equal, some dead spots on both. In every city we've been to, they both work. Straight talk costs less, and I would switch if they'd allow me to 'tether' my computer to the IPhone the way my ATT IPhone does (with paid data, though).
  • I have had it for a little over a year with my iphone 4s in the Phoenix, AZ area. The internet is hit and miss, and only 3g. They supposedly use Verizon and ATT towers, but in remote areas where I had phone reception with Verizon, I have no service at all. There are a ton of dead internet zones everywhere, and I am pretty dissapointed with that.
The price is right so I will use it for the next 9 months till we leave full timing. Then, we will go to a different service provider.
  • I have used straight talk with no problem. It has the same coverage as Verizon
