- TechWriterExplorerFinal note: TRC (Surge Guard) has been purchased by Southwire who is now offering lifetime warranties for Surge Guard products.
So Progressive Industries new owner downgraded their "lifetime warranty" and Surge Guard's new owner upgraded their warranty to lifetime. - TechWriterExplorer

I am perfectly capable of adjusting it but I shouldn't have to calibrate anything with a brand new unit.
At this point getting to it will be a PIA - and I only have to because of poor quality.

My first (and only) PI unit failed out of the box. Company did send a replacement part, but it still didn't work. I returned the unit. I think I discovered why PI needed a "lifetime" warranty. - ScottGNomad

Further food for thought; Per the new warranty, if you get a hardwired PI unit and don't have it "professionally installed by an RV shop", it may not be covered by any warranty.
So my brand new $300 PI unit that reads 10V high is not covered. (Something that should have been caught before it left the factory.)
AS has been pointed out previous posts just adjust the voltage pot.
Not something you would send back in for anyway.
Call their tech support if you need instructions
Here is a PI 30A....blue trim pot shown (and just to left is spot where L2 trim pot would be on 50A) (Thanks SoundGuy for pic)

- Executive45Explorer IIIRegarding the Progressive Industries unit -- The old owner's policy was if it broke, send it to us and we'll send you a new one. The new owners, not so much. IMO, it's still the best one on the market. Simple to use and they work. I fried one due to a lightning strike in Montana. Still allowed a lot of damage but protected the coach from extensive damage. They sent me a brand new one. Worth the money whichever one you buy. SurgeGuard would be my second choice....Dennis

I think the pamphlet is still showing the old warranty. How can you tell? - DutchmenSportExplorerI had a Surge Guard. It lasted 1 year (plugged in 24x7x365), except when actually traveling on the road. I've had 2 different PI's since. First one got stolen, second one has lasted over 3 years now.
If I get another one, it will probably be a PI again.
Your choice as to the "beefieness" of the unit and what they display and "read out". Personally, I wanted something that just shut down if there was a problem. I don't sit around a fret over ever minor power flux, but that's just me! I've got too much camping to do instead. But, I'm also not driving a $300,000 motor coach either! - ScottGNomadI have the PI. People here promote it because of their once great warranty but that has gone down the toilet.
Suggest you look at Surge Guard. Much, much better display, similar warranty. Would be my choice next time. - Jim2007ExplorerHi... progressive. Jim2007
