synthetic oil
I have a Ford Triton V10 and it calls for 5-20W synthetic blend. I can get a really good deal on Mobil 1 5-30W full synthetic is this ok or am I going to have issues with the higher weight?

I'm curious to know how much of a increase the mileage really comes out too. I'm not sold on name brand high dollar lubricants because I run our cars well over 200K on less expensive oils and filters. I've read everything anyone else has and don't see the need for spending the extra dollars, and by the way I don't drive all that easy. Engines have much closer tolerances now so oils can be thinner also. Not to say if you like the synthetics not to use them as they are good also.
