Two years ago I had major suspension work done on my old coach (2002 Safari). Torsalistic tubes on drive axle needed to be replaced. I hired two tech's to do the work on the coach while in storage at my business. Worked great the work was completed in about a day and a half. Hardest part was removing the duals. I believe they had 1/2" or 3/4" impacts but neither was able to break loose a single lug. These were not heavy truck mechanics BTW. Socket with a 36" cheater wasn't successful either. No big deal I called in a truck tire service and they had them off in about 5 minutes. Same after the job was done to put them back. I'm thinking the torque spec was maybe 400? Their compressor was colossal and I believe the inpact was 1". I have a large appreciation for any of you guys that are prepared with the proper tools and muscle to do this type of work on the side of the road.
