I only had a single coax input to my 5er. But it did come into a dual coax conn wall plate in a cabinet below the TV where I installed the receiver. That plate had a short coax jumper across the two connectors. I had to disconnect the jumper and connect a coax from the plate to the receiver to get signal from the Tailgater. Put the jumper back if I wanted park cable.
Got tired of that so I added a second external coax dedicated to the sat.
