Tampa area RV park

We are in a 36ft Class A with 3 slide outs and two dogs in the Tampa area 1/18-2/10...selling our house there so would like to be fairly close to the Westchase/Oldsmar/Carrolwood area so we can drive over to the house to pack. This is mostly a working trip not vacation, would appreciate recommendations of RV parks in the area that are reasonable
  • East of Brandon on SR 60 is Citrus Hills RV Park. Lots of sites and inexpensive. We are there now.
  • Not very familiar with Tampa and don't know the area you are wanting. We spent a few days at Hillsborough River State Park while visiting our Daughter last October. It is very nice and affordable. We were able to drive all over Tampa from this park.
  • Bay Bayou is expensive. $985-$1185 per month. Most RV parks in FL are expensive this time of year. Silver Dollar Ranch has some back ins that are cheaper. Quail Run only allows one pet per RV. You might call them to see if they are willing to make an exception if you explain the purpose. Rates are cheaper. We like the new section with paved sites.
  • Quail Run Rv park is in Wesley Chapel. Not very close, probably about 25 miles,

Silver Dollar Ranch is closer to Carrollwood, Westchase, but gets a bit pricey.

Winter Quarters Rv park is off hwy 54, about 20 miles

Bay Bayou is near. It's in Oldsmar area.

We have our home base here in Quail Run. My Mom lives in Northdale, and has health issues, so we need to be able to come and go when we need to. Quail Run is close enough for us and is a nice park. Unfortunately, it's pretty full right now, as most of them will be.
  • I stayed at this park for three months during the summer Happy Traveler RV Park. It is located on the east side of Tampa, it is a little way from Carollwood.

The park has friendly people and good security.
