tank blanket?

we have the heated pads that cover the entire bottom. But there is still some exposure.

I have the pads on all the tanks sewer pipe and the elbows and the system works great. Keeps everything from freezing. Once we leave Idaho next spring we won't be needing that no more, lol should be heading back to Texas for a while. If you rv during winter its a great system and would highly recommend it.

If it gets that cold I just suspend a 100 watt drop light under the battery compartment, works great. My 6 batteries are exposed to the elements on 3 sides.Just make sure the drop light is off the ground and not touching any part of the RV>

This reminds me of my brother back when we were in HS he put a blanket over the motor with a light bulb under was going to be way below zero that night and around 5 am I woke up and looked out the window and thought the garage was on fire... Nope it was his 1963 comet somehow the blanket caught fire during the night. The comet was toast.I'll never forget that.
