all I know for fact the below is untrue and totally illegal;; there is as I posted a Form E29B, Temporary Admission Permit, that is required if your not enrolled in the RIV program that will allow you to bring a us vehicle into Canada and only good for 30 days.
So then all you know is wrong. The E29B is ONLY for people not normally resident in Canada like students going to school here or people working temporarily in Canada. It CANNOT be used for Canadians who reside in Canada.

OK now all the BS lets PLEASE just STOP I mean come on how stupid do you think people are here ?? you never ever revealed your a US citizen honest to god man this is crazy posting on your part
In your case? Oh never mind.
I’m almost afraid to see the reply, but how does a second citizenship have ANYTHING to do with entering Canada as a Canadian who resides in Canada?

and unless you have been filing US tax returns all along you will soon be getting a huge US tax fine and bill under the newest US tax law
Ok, now I KNOW you have no clue what you’re talking about!
Even as just a Canadian citizen owning property in the US you have to file a US tax return every year, period.

My business partner is a dual citizen and he wont dare go stateside this winter till hes done his total 20 year declaration and filed his last 20 us tax returns and renounced his US citizenship;; theres a time frame been allowed for people to do this without fines and any tax owed etc by US IRA .Its costing him $5K
Ok, now we’re getting into fantasy.
As a US citizen, same as in Canada for Canadians, you MUST file a tax return every year. If you as a Canadian fail to disclose income earned, even in a foreign country, on your tax return you can face sever penalties, possibly jail. You do however get credit for foreign taxes paid to avoid double taxation.
So now you’re saying he can now just file 20 years of returns, wave his hand, click his heels, burn his passport and everything he’s done wrong and any back-taxes, penalties and interest just go away?
Wow.
