From your signature one could assume you haven't either! Noise is a minor factor in a diesel. For us it is not possible to have the room we have in our pusher. But my favorite part is driving it, for me getting there is as much fun as your destination. BTW my canadian friend, diesel is spelt the same up here as the US I think!
