Ride is fine. Perhaps if I sold our stick house and had loads of money to put into a DP I would, but spending $115,000 for a new gas model more than meets the needs of lots of people rather than $200,000 plus for a new DP.
Not having to climb over the passenger sure beats "The hump in middle"
there is NO DOUBT a Gasser is a ton of money less than a DP but the DP motorhome is also a TON better so U get what u pay for so to speak
But DPMH are pretty obnoxious $$$ wise when you looking at new or even 1-2 years old.
