There is times when we enjoy the slide out, and there is times when we enjoy having it in too. Not sure of the numbers, but we tend to buy good quality rigs and have never had an issue with a dinette slide. Also never had any other kind of slide. We both agree, the idea of having the bed that needs to fold up so the slide can come in is very scary. All of our rigs were fully usable with the slides in or out.
