If you like slides, then buy one with slides.
If you don't like slides, then don't buy one.
It's not Rocket Science, each option will fit different situations. Our 5th wheel had 3 slides and they were not a bunch of trouble. Our "B" had none.
Our two (Long ago) Motor coaches had none and our present "C" has none.
My opinion=5th wheel or travel Trailer have Slides.
B,C,or A, I don't want a slide as I want the option to crank and drive if needed.
We are perfectly happy with our "C" and no slides. If we need more room we will trade for a LONGER "C".
