How else would one describe the pounding that RV's take nowadays when traveling on today's U.S. roads and highways?
(Of course when one's RV is a towable, the users traveling comfortably in the tow vehicle are not aware of what's going on back there. However us motorhome users feel and hear what's going on back behind us, and yes ... road surface potholes and cracks resemble the earthquakes some of us have experienced. Except of course earthquakes don't last nearly as long as traveling between campsites does. IMHO, slides present just another failure waiting to happen - whether it be through water leakage or mechanical breakage.)
