You won't even notice the switch with a speed that fast.. provided it really is that fast.
My now-defunct Prosine had a 15ms switch (or so I remember) and it was seamless. The only issue I ever ran into was when on generator. If I powered down the Honda (without unpluggig the shore cable) the DVR reset. If I unplugged the shore cable with the gens running, the DVR was fine.
The 3012 is a 12v unit, which is going to require some monster cables if you use it for high-draw appliances for any length of time. I'm going to 24v which makes cabling 50% easier. :)
