I recently viewed a 2017 gaser with a large full wall slide. It has cables pulling it in and out and Teflon rollers underneath. Not knowing anything about slides I wondered if this was a good thing or not so good thing.

All my other rigs were straight models with no slides.

IMO, full wall slides are a no, no and cable drives, also. In fact any that require more than one motor, I try and avoid. POWERGEAR electrics are my choice and really don't see the need for hydraulic drives. I like them easily released for cranking them in and out manually, as well.
