Thinking

About selling my truck & toyhauler and going to a class c with the buggie on a trailer. The only neg I see is the size of the fresh/blk/gry tanks. I always boondock. I'm retired so buying a new one the way I need it is out of the question. What size tanks are normal on a class c ??

Thanks for any comments.
  • Class C's: Fresh/grey/black

    27' Lazy Daze: 60/35/30 gal
    27' Thor 4-winds: 40/26/26
    27' Winni Aspect: 40/31/34

I think ~40/30/30 is pretty typical, but will vary with floor-plan, length and manufacturer.

  • I think you would be happier with a Class A. If you do some searching on RV Trader.com, Ebay and Craigslist you'll find better deals on Class As then a comparable Class C. The Class A will have more liveable space than an equal sized Class C. Plus the tanks will be larger capacity.

To me a Class A is just as easy to drive as a Class C or the Toyhauler/TV combo you have.
