THOR DIESEL MH
WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK OF THE THOR PRODUCT IN THE MOTOR HOME AREA? I have always stayed away from Thor but what are your opinions. I have had NO problems but have heard some stories but wonder if owners of MHs feel the same?

- IMHO I would never purchase one.
- WOW you went from Thor Challenger to a Tiffen Phaeton, quite a difference. I would like to find a sweet Tiffen but not sure that will occur. Thor seems to have a not so good product for 2013 at least and do not stand behind the product the day after warranty is up. Of course it would matter what was going wrong outside of warranty but most companies will cover things that should not occur after 2-3 years. I am going to stick with WINNEBAGO or Tiffen or maybe Monaco.
- I had a Damon (Thor) Challenger 371 for 5 years and had no complaints with the unit. It was not a high end coach but nothing broke during my ownership and everything worked as designed. The only problem was some peeling vinyl on the seats that Thor would not offer any assistance with at 16 months of ownership. So no more Thor products. I purchased a Tiffin product due to their reputation of owner satisfaction, even with out of warranty items.
So Thor generally makes a decent product and covers repairs during the warranty period. However 1 day out of warranty it's all yours, Thor doesn't offer any post warranty goodwill to it's owners. - I've had one for almost 10 years. Would buy one again.
