Not necessarily. There are many Aqua Hot systems that do not have the engine pre-heat feature. In those cases, most units have a separate pre-heat system.

Oh really, that's surprising I thought that was a standard feature. Something for potential buyers to be on the look out for.
Just take a look at the Aqua Hot website. You will find many units without engine pre-heat. One example is here: http://aquahot.com/Products/RV/400D.aspx You will see that the model 400D does not offer engine pre-heat, but the 450D does. This is just one example.
