Be sure to shop around for company that sells RV insurance, not just adding on like a car on existing policy. I had insurance for autos with a company with a lot of A's in their name. Shopped and found Progressive with better coverage and half the price (about $500/year). MHs have very high MSRP compared to actual price paid. Old company would only insure for MSRP. We paid $35,000 less than that, but they would not come down on value. Progressive allowed me to specify a value that we agreed on for coverage, thus saving a bunch of money for coverage limits that I did not need.
