Mr. Al, we didn't have heated floors in our 'tiled' coach and didn't really miss something we didn't have. The little electric heater seemed to work well. Now that the new coach has heated wood floors, it's amazing.
We were in 8 degree weather back in December heading West through NM and AZ at higher elevation. It's amazing how the heated floors maintained interior temp. At night, I don't like to have anything on if possible, especially, our diesel fired furnace. I like things as quiet as possible.
Your wife will love heated floors.

When I kept seeing all the big$ coaches advertising tile floors and hydronic heat, I assumed it was radiant floor heating.
