Good list in general. For drier areas, the dehumidifier is not necessary- no point in pumping its watt draw in heat into the interior. Probably best tip is to isolate the cab area. Best after you put on your vinyl windshield cover. This may be enough right there. In very hot conditions -direct sun you will get better results with the reflective material on the outside of the windows. Close shades. Always seek out shade if you can in very hot conditions. Any shade is better than none. A few hours/day, partial, splotch of it.. etc.. Start AC early and get ahead of the heat.
