- TerryallanExplorer IIIMOP, All MHs, and big truck should be required to have "steer straight" units installed on the steering axle. A "shock" that helps the driver keep it straight during a blow out

Reminds me of the fellow that parked next to me at the Cracker Barrel on I-26 Exit 145 back on 3/23/2003. 40' DP with 15 feet of the front driver's side held together with duct tape. I asked him what happened. He told me he blew the left front tire doing 85mph.

-Tom, W3TLN - Mr_Mark1ExplorerIt looks like, towards the end, that the motorhome struct that red truck just before the RV went over the bridge.
And, I agree with a couple of posts above, that it took forever to stop and the oncoming traffic were driving defensively!
Be safe out there!
MM. - JumboJetExplorerThere was good defensive driving from the oncoming traffic. Two smaller vehicles and that 18 wheeler that is off on the left shoulder next to the guard rail. Wow! Several people needed to change their britches after that.
- GordonThreeExplorerHauling a$$ in the left lane, glad to see the operator didn't kill anyone.
- NeverHome2ExplorerThis happened to me a couple of times driving truck back before steel belted tubeless radials became standard. It happened to the left front both times same as the RV. Also didn't have power steering on the old trucks. Contrary to opinion you can step on the brakes to slow down just not so much that you lose control. You can also steer as the RV driver steered the RV. It just takes some muscle. If you put your mind to it you can control the RV in a blowout situation as required.
- icanonExplorerScary...Very scary!
- Two_JayhawksExplorerSeemed like it took forever to stop that thing.
