Tires for a Class A Motorhome

We are first time full time RV people with a class A motorhome and would like to know which tire would be better. Right now we have the Goodyear G670's. But they have been on the RV for 7 years and we need to buy new tires. Which one would be the best one for long distance and durability...the Cooper Road Master load range G or the Bridgestone R250 with the same load range. Would really appreciate the help.
Thank you.

  • FMCA has the Michelin Advantage program that makes Michelin a great price.
  • Check B F Goodrich, now owned by Michelin and made in the USA! Recommended to us by Pat at Pro Tire in Denton TX. Over 45,000 miles on them. We are very pleased. Load range H.
  • I just put the Road Master tires on before I drove 1100 miles, for my limited experience I think they are fine tires without breaking the bank.

I agree with Dennis stick with the Goodyears! If your coach is 22,000 lbs. or under go with a G rated sidewall and if your coach is heavier I would go with a H rated sidewall. Make sure your DOT Stamp codes (on the tires) are very current! Good Luck in whatever you decide to purchase!

Goodyears from 7 years ago were made in the USA, this is no longer the case (China).

    I suggest Continental HSR's or Hankook AH11's.
I googled Goodyear Tire Plants in North America and 4 tire plants showed up on the list that are actively making or producing tires in the United States : Danville, Virgina and Fayetteville, North Carolina and Lawton Oklahoma and lastly Topeka, Kansas. Plus Goodyear has numerous tire plants in Canada.

  • IMHO...Goodyear G670s. If you've had them on the coach for 7 years and have been happy with them, why change....:h.....Dennis

BTW..try not to duplicate post....welcome to the forum....Dennis
