I recently replaced my Aqua Magic V with a Style II. Here is a link to the Thetford web site.
This link will take you to Thetford's list of different models. Click on a model and you will see the exploded view for that model and a parts list.
Removing your existing toilet is easy. Just like the toilet in your house it is held in place by two bolts/nuts on either side of the base. Once the nuts are removed lift the toilet straight up. You may want some short pieces of 2 X 4 to slide under the toilet so you can set it back down. Now you can turn the toilet to the side and remove the water supply. Before removing the water supply make sure there is no water pressure in your coach.
Your toilet is now removed. You can examine it to see what parts you might need.
For mine, I checked the price of the parts and the price of a new toilet. I also considered that all of the other parts on the toilet were the same age as the part that just failed. I also thought about the time to remove the old part and install the new part.
My decision was to buy a new toilet and replace my old toilet with a newer upgraded model.
Good luck and safe travels.

Thankyou Yellowboat,I thought the same thing it is 31 years old, I have been looking at just replacing it so far the parts that I was told it needed is almost $100.00 so I think I will just replace it.
Again thank you, Tim
Great.
Now for the cautions. If you are replacing your old toilet with a new one just like it you can ignore the following.
Not all RV toilets are the same size. I had selected a toilet I liked and I e-mailed Thetford and they replied telling me to measure very carefully. Thetford responded with a different toilet than the one I liked. After carefully measuring my old toilet and the clearances I found that I needed to use the toilet Thetford suggested as a replacement.
So, check the measurements of the toilets and make sure you have room on the back, and both sides. For mine I went from about 4 inches of clearance from the back wall to 1/2 inch with my new toilet.
Thanks I will. I know I have like 6 inches on ea side but the clearance from the back to cabinet is not much. I will measure and contact Thetford. Since I have been home and in the driveway (pretty flat)there have been no leaks. I am using it as my Man Cave... I am only using the water in the holding tank and no city hookup. The leak must have something to do when I hook up to city water, my gauge says 40 lbs. I am not over the limit? Am I?
