Toilet leak

Last year we found that if we hooked up to the city water full load @ campgrounds that the toilet leaked (clean water)when ever you flushed it leaked out of the top where the water runs around to go down bowl so we turned the pressure down and all was well. We bought a pressure gauge. Now this past weekend the toilet leaked on just the water from the water tank (again clean water) but this time besides on the carpet it was leaking out the bottom of MH in rear. I remember seeing a video that was on this site about removing the toilet and replacing a valve, can someone tell me where I can find that video again so we know how change it? 1982 Pace Arrow Thanks, Tim

Sorry should have know that... It is a Thetford Aqqua Magic model SL (Low) SH ( High)Thank you
  • Can we assume you use a water pressure regulator? If not, you need to start using one, or get good at replacing plumbing.
  • On my toilet...The water comes in to the toilet in the back. There is just a whole with a rubber grommet. The male end of the water hose sticks in there. Very simple setup. That grommet could be leaking and giving the appearance it is leaking somewhere else. Just a thought, good luck.
