Top Two (2) Gas Class A's Newmar & Tiffin?

What about the new Jayco Class A's? I've always liked Newmar, but the only class A we owned was a Tiffin Allegro Bay and it was a nice class A.

Looked at both. Did not like Newmar interiors but that is subjective. Hard to even find a Newmar near us so we bought Tiffin. Still happy with our decision.
Depending on model you choose be sure to compare usable storage and layout. Can't beat 36LA for floor space in bathroom when stepping out of shower or outside storage.

We bought a Tiffin Allegro 32SA because it has an 8" longer wheelbase, a 2000 pound higher GVWR and considerably more CCC than the comparable Newmar Bay Star. And the Tiffin has a flat stove cover, the Newmar doesn't. We didn't consider the Newmar Canyon Star because it's bigger than we want. That's about it.

Are you looking at entry level or higher end? As an example a Newmar bay star sport will have pretty much the same entry level components as any other entry level RV. You start getting into Canyon star etc and you will start seeing a difference in quality. Frankly I haven't seen much difference in quality from any brand across the board on entry level gassers. One thing I like about Newmar is their slide mechanism. I think it's superior to Schwintek. Not that it's without issues, but I am certain there are much fewer. The second question is who will treat you better after the sale. I've never dealt with either company but it's a critical component. Because you will need post sale support.

Both are good. Neither is without issues. Just better than the rest.

I'd agree with that - I think.

Putting Newmar at #1 is an easy call. I'm not sure I'd put Tiffin at #2 - then again I'm not sure who else I'd put there either?
