- Executive45Explorer IIIComparing a safety device to a computer is dumb, IMHO. If your computer fails so what? If a tire fails or a TPMS fails the results could be fatal. See several posts of the past few days. Buying a safety device based on price alone is foolish. So far no one has said they own one of the devices you're looking at...I would stay with a known commodity myself.
I just read all the way to the bottom of the page you referenced. They have two charts listed and it appears those will not work for a motor home. According to their charts, their PSI limits are 73 PSI. That won't do for a large vehicle...keep looking.
I have the TST system. ($359) It not only gives me a reading of the tire's PSI it also provides the tire TEMPERATURE. Is that important..:h. With several posts in the past few days of tire fires, YES that's important. I believe these folks may still have their coaches, (Lady Antebellum) if they had a TST system. When a caliper hangs up or a bearing fails, the entire wheel assembly becomes hot. Too hot and a fire results. With the TST system screaming in your ears, it's a little difficult to ignore and you'll stop before it gets hot enough to catch fire...just a thought....Dennis - tderonneExplorerBe sure to check the maximum pressure rating. When I was shopping a few years ago some were clearly only designed for cars, their maximum pressure was well below what my RV tires use.

??? Are you sure about this?
Must be a problem in the English/French translation. :B - KidooExplorer

Here is one I am looking at. Look at shipping price, $2.11 to Canada, this is amazing.

Shipping from USA on this one is pretty good too, $5.04

I looked at Amazon.ca and it is a ripoff. Shipping is FREE, yai, but nothing below $500.00 for TPMS for 6 tires. - traveylinExplorerThe Chinese data processer provided as part of the monitoring system is likely to have spyware imbedded in it that will search your engine monitoring system and wifi driven computers. - Dick_BExplorerI like the service from Pressure Pro. When you contact them they have all the records of previous purchases and deal with you like a customer not a number.

CHUCKFTBOY read my post your american car won,t run without china parts. I understand your complaint. but its just that way. OH! turn your computer off. made in china.
yeah - it's a global economy now.
there are some things I won't buy from China: anything edible is at the top of the list.
But trying to buy 100% American is really tough!
It's actually cheaper for US foresters to harvest trees from the US, ship 'em to a port, load 'em on a boat, send 'em to china, have them turned into plywood and shipped back.
If that's not nutz, I don't know what is. - SCVJeffExplorerThere is a big difference between buying from China and a product using Chinese parts.
Once you start getting up to a couple hundred$$ buying direct, you will likely see an import tax bill right along with the purchase.
