I also have a Tracvision Dish. I use the same receiver as I use at home. It is a HD receiver but the Tracvision will not produce HD on your tv. I have found the main thing when using my receiver is change the settings from Slimline to 18 inch round. Also change the setting from SWM to Multiswitch. Doing this I can manually tune my dish to sat. 101 and receive Direct TV stations.
