I got a message on my Trip Tek system that simply said "oil" When I looked it up on the checklist, it read transmission oil so I figured this was the 5,000 mile oil and filter change that I had heard...

Very interesting point of view. Trust an electrical sensor, that could be inaccurate over a mechanical scale. Being in the heavy duty transmission business, I like the dip stick method just fine.
