Transmission oil change 3 gallons low
I got a message on my Trip Tek system that simply said "oil" When I looked it up on the checklist, it read transmission oil so I figured this was the 5,000 mile oil and filter change that I had heard...

Your gasser is perfect if you don't have a heavy load. It's not gas vs. diesel debate, a gas engine is just not the choice if you are 40,000 lbs. or more and need a large towing capacity.
I don't think there is a gas engine that could 'push' our 53,000 lbs. with a 20,000 lb. towing capacity. If they did make one, it would get 1.5 mpg.
