Travel from Ithica,NY to DC
Hello All, would US15 or I- 81 be better for travel from NY ( finger lakes area) to DC? Distance is about 40 miles longer on 81 but the time differance is minimal ( according to google maps)...more c...

Having just traveled to Cortland, NY from VA to Whitesville, NY and back to VA, both I-81 and US-15 have some construction. US-15 also goes through Williamsport, where the Little League World Series is going on, but also takes you past the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) and straight to I-270 to DC. I would go US-15.
