Travel from Ithica,NY to DC
Hello All, would US15 or I- 81 be better for travel from NY ( finger lakes area) to DC? Distance is about 40 miles longer on 81 but the time differance is minimal ( according to google maps)...more c...

We take 15 quite often. We get on at Painted Post and take it to just north of Harrisburg where we take 22/322 east to I-81 North to I-83 South to 15 toward Gettysburg. There was a small area of construction about a month ago, but nothing too hard to handle.
