Just for info, it would be nice to know what kind/make/model/year coach you have because many folks might have the same one and have learned how to deal with the "stubborn" lens issue. We have an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD and it has many different kinds of ceiling lights. The ones that have given me trouble are the 3" "Puck" lights. They are almost flush with the ceiling and are sometimes very stubborn in removing the lens/cover. They are a twist off but, they don't twist very far.
And, I don't know about yours but, the ones in our coach were the 10watt Halogen with what's called a G-4 base. In certain circumstances, I've had to put a pair of larger channel locks carefully on the outer diameter to assist in the "breaking" of the seal (so to speak). I've put a towel or, some masking tape around them too prior to using the pliers. Good luck.
