Gary - wa8yxmExplorer IIIAlas I do not do fords but from teh sounds of it I would check the connection on the side of the steering column (one bundle runs up into the column) to make surew it is fully seated.. Next suspect is the turn signal switch itself.
- wilanddijExplorerGet a F-53 chassis manual and check out the fuses under the hood. They should be labeled.
- fourmatExplorerIf flasher fails it defaults to light is on but doesn't blink I would be looking at fuses or Multi function switch (turn signal switch)
- Cobra21ExplorerHopefully a fuse or the ground.
- Passin_ThruExplorerFlasher is still replaceable.
- bullydogs1ExplorerCheck chassis fuse for turn signals, then check switch itself to make sure it is functioning..last check connector to steering column..if wipers work then most likely it is the fuse...I am not sure if there is a flasher unit like on older vehicles on the fuse box or if that went electronic as well.
