Sony only uses a single code set per an app on my phone so the odds are the mounting on the ones it does not work with covers the sensor or something is overwhelming the remote's transmitter. IE: Florescent lights.
  • Some of the remotes have a slide switch for TV/DVR #1 or #2. If yo have this, it will enable you to program a remote for two different devices. Just remember you have to slide the switch to the proper position for it to work.
  • Some TV's need the remote to be paired with it much the same ways as a bluetooth device to a cell phone. Or it could be as others have posted and the remote is using the wrong code for the TV. Best solution is find the Sony model numbers and than search out the user manual to determine exactly what you'll need to do to get the TV's to work properly.
  • Are all the TVs the same size or are they different sizes and model numbers? Do you have any of the manuals for them? Are the remotes you have the same model number?

With the model number and screen size of all four TVs and the model numbers of the two remotes, you should be able to contact Sony and find out if you need to buy more remotes or if you can just program the remotes to work with the various TV sets.

You aren't giving us much to work with so try contacting Sony first but be sure that you have the size and model numbers for the TVs and the remotes.
  • How many remotes? If you have 4 do they all work on the 2 living room tvs? Are they universal or Sony? Sony has more than one code for linking TVs to remotes. I would first try to link one remote to the bedroom and if it works then see if it still works on the living room. Just going to have to troubleshoot and eliminate possibilities.
