US 50

You can do it, no problem, but it involves Monarch Pass. You can look at the pass on cotrip.gov on their webcam map. It's a challenging pass if you haven't driven too many. Did it with a fifth wheel years ago, but haven't done it with the coach.

Drove a semi through there years ago (1999?). Pretty but narrow in places and follows the river along the side of the mountain so it twists and turns. Only did it once ;) Depends on your comfort level.


Looked at it on Google maps and it looks a little better than I remember. Found a couple of CG's that look interesting along US-50.
