Used Country Coach Hesitancy?

I really like the quality of the Country Coach brand! The 05 with the opposing slides really fits our needs for sleeping space and the 36 footer fits neatly into our driveway, not to mention many campsites. My DW is leery about the possibility of a purchase because the company in Oregon went out of business some years ago. Are there any issues getting service and/or parts from this brand? Would anyone have any misgivings about pulling the trigger on a Country Coach DP?

  • I own a 1988 Country Coach Prevost conversion. If I ever sell it the buyer will get a great coach! CC is still around so most anything you need can still be had, repaired, replaced, re-worked or updated.
  • Winnebago bought the Country Coach brand and parts inventory. I called thier Oregon phone number and was told they are selling parts and service support. Are they making more parts? Probably not.

Would I buy a CC? You bet.
  • Even if the company was still in business the coach would be out of warranty and at ten years old most RV companies wouldn't have the caps regardless. Styles have changed.

Other than the front and rear caps, almost everything else is off the shelf items. For $55K I''d go for it.
