Using a tow dolly
Would like to know how many use a tow dolly instead of using the tow bar. I have the Ford V-10, on a 36 foot coach. Looking at both options, so would like to know pro's and con's of each one. Thank you.

- A down side to the toll dolly is the curb side wheels tend to run off the road alot causing tire damage.
Roy Ken - 4 down is preferred for ease of hookup, straps can be a pita, esp in the rain.
- Ive done both. I way prefer the 4 down method. Price wise, when you buy the good tow dolly with brakes either surge or electric, the price difference is not much different compared to having the baseplate, suplemental braking , and purchasing the tow bar, figure 3 grand each way. the only advantage I can see is you can use diferent cars on a dolly
