Over-the-counter hydrogen peroxide (3 - 6%) will work as well as bleach as long as you heat the hydrogen peroxide (+ the water in your holding tank) to 130 degrees.
Now if you want to use Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) to disinfect, that's different, but I think AHP is pricey and might be hard to buy as a just a consumer.
And baking soda, as someone suggested, is not a sanitizer.
