Usually a dipstick indicates a quart "between the marks" but it seems that on the V10 it might be more. What have you found?
I just changed ours and it seemed to be closer to six quarts than the seven I expected. Going on a run tomorrow and I'll check it again after that and we're level.
Let me offer a couple thoughts on Low Oil:
-Down a quart or so, it'll probably lubricate just fine. But thse fewer quarts'll run a little hotter and dirty up a little faster.
-Having to add a lot of oil often still doesn't mean it doesn't need changing. I've found that those first (and often many) miles after a complete change show less consumption than right before changing the oil in that "oil burner."
