The actual trade in value will be close to the wholesale value.
That is shown by NADA in the on-line info for cars I think, but not for motor homes. As stated above the dealers play with the numbers to fake you out.
Years ago we used to use 70% of the low retail for the wholesale value but I don't know if that is still a good number or not. I have been told but have not verified that the dealer NADA books do have a wholesale value. If so you may be able to see one at a local library or friendly local bank or credit union.
