Reading this thread I'm surprised so many people use CD's. All of our vehicles now have USB. I use Nano USB memory sticks. Usually 16gb. It holds 8-10,000 songs. No more flipping through CD albums. I keep the originals at home as a backup. If the Nano USB is stolen I'm out $10. I carry zero CD's in any vehicle. I usually carry 4gb of music on the smart devices. This is in addition to Bluetooth streaming of Pandora, Amazon Music or IHeartRadio. Amazon Music allows downloads for offline use.

So, some of you need the "male" connector, from Ford, to plug into a different radio... That could be tough. I used to wonder why the OEM radios folks gave me after upgrades, never came with the pigtail, radio to car's harness. Then I realized the upgrade used an adapter cable with a "female" that then wired to the "male" for the upgrade radio. You can easily get an adapter harness, but he radio end is the problem.

FYI, our Jayco came with a Panasonic single-CD "aftermarket" radio, single DIN. Our Ford dash is 1.5 DIN so it had an 0.5 DIN filler.

We pulled out the stock radio out of our 2015 F450 chassis, intending to change it for a ford radio with a single CD player. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find one with a plug that will fit.

So yes, we have a stock Ford AM/FM radio just sitting in a bag to keep the dust off.

I have had 3 class c Winnies and all came with brand X with weather channels included and a remote. 03 & 04 E450 and 06 E350. I guess I should have said at least that's what Winnebago did with cutaway chassis. Brand X because I can't remember the brand, but it is not Ford. Dick

Neither radio came with a remote.

You can easily remove the radio yourself by inserting a nail in each of the 4 forward facing holes, two per side as the picture below shows. Then pull the radio towards you, unplug the connector & antenna and the worst is done.

Search Ebay for "2007 Ford CD Radio". A good working used one single or 6-CD will cost around $100 with shipping considered.

Here is my 6-CD Ford stock radio, not sure what year or Ford vehicle it came out of, but it fit my 2007 E350 with no issues. My single CD unit looks very similar. For a visual of what came with your E450, look in your owners manual.

Again I emphasis to watch out for the style of the connector socket in back of the radio.

First you have to find a "real" repair shop with "real" technicians who can check it out to see what the problem really is.

That in itself might be near to impossible.

Most consumer electronics these days are considered "disposable". If it breaks, throw it away and get a new one.
