  • Sportsmobile has been around since the early 60s. I visited their Texas factory back in '05 or '06. The third factory is in Indiana. Their on-line design your own rig is my favorite "computer game." Nice people and a good quality built Class B. Waiting list is about a year now.

OH Nice Ill have to check out that GAME sounds fun. So you kind of come up with you own concept for a class B? is that the ides? The California Location, 1065 and the waiting list of a year, I had learned from the video link I attached above.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm heading now for that GAME ha ha
  • We had a 2006 Sprinter converted by Sportsmobile Texas and were quite happy with it. Pick the van body of your choice, see the available floor space and add as much or as little furniture as you want from a long, long list of options. you can design whatever you want instead of being limited to just few different models. (Of course you have to live with your own mistakes, so be careful.) Quality and price are very reasonable.

With the usual RVs you have to live with someone else's mistakes. LOL

I really wouldn't recommend designing one's first rig. There is a reason why there are so many used 1 year old rigs on the market. What you thought you wanted wasn't actually what you ended up wanting or needing.
